Entry 9, Reflection Pt. 2

Write about what you are learning personally as a result of reading this text. -Reflection

Personally, I like this book a lot. But I did not learned much in a direct way, rather in a other way.
This plot shows me that I should hear more to their stories and be more open for other persons, as Sybil Birling should be. If she would have assumed more in the story of Eva Smith, perhaps she could have changed her opinion and at least, a dead woman could be alive.

On the other hand, that I should not be so parsimonious and hard in decisions like Arthur. 

When I see the situation of Sheila, then I think sometimes peoples should take the live with more humour and don't make the persons so fast some prejudices. And Eric Birling should be more carefully with his actions and should not drown his troubles in alcohol.

At all, I learned to take my decisions more carefully and look more at the situation behind this peoples.

Entry 4, Prediction

At any point in the story predict how some character is going to change/develop (character development) as the story progresses. How will they change? - Prediction I think the young persons changed the most through the whole plot. Expected Sheila and Eric changed the most. The reason for this is because they did the most fatal acts. Sybil did such a fatal act to, but she has also a strong will and think she did the right thing. The acts of Gerald and Arthur aren't fatal enough so that we can say Eva did the suicide because of this. All of the acts are harmonising together and that’s the reason for her suicide. Sheila was self-confident and with a strong will, but after she heard the termination of Eva's job in Milwards, she felt guilty and she seemed to be broken. Also Eric, he regretted his actions to Eva. Gerald didn't feel guilty to Eva Smith, rather to Sheila.  In opposition to the young persons, the old ones didn't regret their actions.
